DIVYA MALHOTRA, MBBS, MHA, MBA
Founder & CEO
Divya Malhotra is the founder and CEO of Purple Pivot. Prior to starting Purple Pivot, she was the Executive Director of Analytics and Innovation at Stamford Health in Connecticut where she led the analytics strategy and internal consulting for the organization. Divya has extensive analytics experience designing analytical solutions for healthcare problems in various healthcare organizations across the country.
She has extensive experience designing analytics for hospitals in supply chain, clinical efficiency, surgical services, quality measurement, physician analytics and strategy. She is passionate about data science and believes data analytics will transform healthcare.
Divya holds a medical degree from India and an MHA and MBA from University of Minnesota. She resides in Connecticut with her husband and two daughters.
RAHUL GUPTA, MS, PHD.
Senior Technology & Machine Learning Advisor
Dr. Rahul Gupta has over 15 years experience in leading data science and analytics across various industries. He specializes in growing data science programs using cutting-edge analytical techniques to address key organizational challenges. He was crucial in establishing a data science function at St. Joseph Health in California. He and his team worked on diverse topics such predicting disease onset for conditions such as diabetes, sepsis, pressure ulcers, forecasting demand of services at hospitals and understanding drivers of patient experience.
Dr. Gupta also has a breadth of experience in medical device companies such as Medtronic and Artificial Intelligence design in technology and marketing companies. More recently Dr. Gupta has worked in Microsoft as Sr. Data Science Manager.
Dr. Gupta holds a PhD in Neuroscience from University of Minnesota and is author / co-author on multiple peer-reviewed publications as well as issued patents.
YVONNE DIAZ, MHA
Strategy & Business Development Lead
Yvonne Diaz is a visionary leader with over 30 years of experience in strategy formulation and execution and an extensive track record of business development and service line growth across the country. She leads Purple Pivot's business development strategy and is critical to the development of customer centric solutions.
Prior to joining Purple Pivot, Yvonne was an executive at Baptist Health in South Florida where she implemented a comprehensive ambulatory strategy including joint ventures, acquisitions and physician partnerships. She also held key leadership positions at Catholic Health East in the Southeastern Pennsylvania market and at Stamford Health in Connecticut.
Yvonne holds a Masters in Healthcare Administration from St. Thomas University in Florida and Fellow status from The Healthcare Advisory Board in Washington, DC.
Yvonne enjoys golf, traveling, reading and volunteering at local charity organizations.
